Anthropology CoursesLower-division offerings (those numbered 1 to 99) seek to provide a basic orientation to the broad and basic ideas and methods of anthropological investigation and a familiarity with case materials from a number of different societies.
Upper-division offerings (those numbered aobve 99) are more specialized. They are offered both to majors/minors and to other students. A small number have various prerequisites, which should be checked before registering. In some cases a prerequisite can be waived by the instructor if a student has comparable background. |
